What is a Prostor card?

Prostor transit card is a uniform payment solution for multiple types of city transport in Rostov-On-Don, Russia.

Card types
Regular card
A most common, full-fare prepaid card that is accepted in all types of public transportation. Works on a transparent pay-as-you-go basis: the card balance is deducted by the cost of a ride, without any time-limited passes or ride packages that may expire.
Senior card
Issued by the local agencies for social security and features a 50 % discount on all types of public transport.
Student card
Features a 50 % discount on public transportation. Issued by the request of an educational institution (submit an application in your school) or directly at the ARPS office (with your or your parent’s ID and a confirmation of your status from the school). Undergraduate and post-graduate students are not eligible.
How the Prostor card works
Buy a card
In points of sales or at the ARPS office. Reduced fare cards (for passengers who qualify) are issued by the local social security offices (contact us for details). In most points of sales, you get a card with 115 rubles on it for 200 ₽. At the office you can buy a card with no balance for 85 ₽.
Please retain the receipts whenever you top up your Prostor card. You’ll need them to recover the balance if the card is damaged or lost.
Top up the card
Use the top-up teminals of CenterInvestBank or Donkombank (cash only). At the ARPS office, you can top up your Prostor card using VISA, MasterCard, or MIR.

Where is Prostor card accepted?
You can use Prostor card on most transit routes in Rostov-on-Don, both full-size vehicles and minibuses. Taxis are not connected to the system at the moment.

and counting: new routes and carriers are joining the Prostor system every month. Contact us if you would like to use Prostor card on a bus that does not accept it yet.

By credit card
  • At the ARPS office (ulitsa Sotsialisticheskaya, 37 — see Google Maps).
    Monday—Friday: 08.00—17.00; Saturday: 09.00—15.00.
  • At the ticket offices of the North Caucasus Railways.
  • Using the Prostor app for Android (NFC-enabled devices only). Note that a 5 % fee applies when using the app.

How do I recover the balance if my card is damaged or lost?
Receipt for your latest top-up transaction
Application to request a balance transfer (we’ll help you to fill it out in Russian at our office)
Your ID (a passport is the best option)

Visit us the ARPS office (ulitsa Sotsialisticheskaya, 37 — see Google Maps) to submit the papers and get a new card.

Please note. The guaranteed lifetime of the card is 12 months from the moment of sale. You can have the card replaced for free within that period, unless it has visible damages; after that period, you’ll need to pay for the replacement card.
